Head Coaches
Jennifer Gronlund
Falcons Cheer is so excited to welcome Coach Jennifer back to our coaching staff! Coach Jenn has been a part of the Falcons organization since 2014, and started coaching her daughter Ella’s team in both the traditional and extended season in 2017. Jenn cheered for Pop Warner as a child and was also a cheerleader in high school. She is also currently acting as Team Commissioner for her son’s HC Falcons 3rd grade football team.
Lauren Giordano
Coach Lauren has been a part of Flemington Falcons since 2012 as a supportive Cheer Mom for her older daughter. She began coaching in 2018 as head coach of the Flag team and in 2019 for the Mitey Mite team for her youngest daughter in the program. Lauren also serves on the Falcons Board in the role of Cheer Commissioner.
Michelle Blane
Coach Michelle began coaching with the Falcons during the 2019 extended season and continued as an assistant coach for the Flag team for traditional season. Michelle began her coaching career for Montgomery Pop Warner as the team commissioner for the Mitey Mite team and continued as the head coach for their Flag team before making the move to the Flemington Falcons Cheer Program. Michelle is also the Treasurer for the Falcons Cheer Board.
Jackie Jackson
Jackie has worked and resided In Hunterdon county for over 20 years. She has a background in various types of dance from ballet to gymnastics. Her oldest daughter joined the Falcons family in 2019. It was her love of the sport that encouraged her other daughter to join for the upcoming season. Jackie is very excited to have been accepted as the Head coach to our flag team and is looking forward to a successful season of learning new skills, making new friends, and building confidence in a fun, safe environment.
Assistant Coaches
Kristen Bannon
Coach Kristen joined the Flemington Falcons Cheer Family four years ago and has been a coach to her oldest daughter’s team, helping to lead the team to Nationals and Globals! She has also coached her younger daughter during the 2020 extended season.
Kim Miller
This is Coach Kim’s first year as an assistant coach on the Junior Varsity team, but she is no stranger to the role. She has much experience supporting youth cheer and football and is very excited to be coaching her daughter and the JV team this season.
Chelsea Young
Coach Chelsea has been involved in Falcons cheerleading since 2016, as both an assistant coach and head coach at both the Flag and Mitey Mite levels. Chelsea is also part of the Falcons Cheer Board serving as Head Cheer Coach.
Sara Call
Sara became a part of the Flemington Falcons organization when both her son and daughter began participating in football and cheer in 2014. Sara began coaching her older daughter’s team in 2014 and has now coached her youngest daughter on both the Flag and Mitey Mite teams. Coach Sara is also part of the Falcons Cheer Board serving as Recording Secretary and Fundraising.
Breanne Crowe
This is Coach Breanne’s second year as an assistant coach for the Mitey Mite team. She has daughters who cheer on both the Flag and Mitey Mite teams. She is excited for the season to begin!
Desiree Ragland
This is Coach Desiree’s first year as a part of the Falcons program, but she is no stranger to cheerleading or Pop Warner! Coach Desiree began coaching for Pop Warner in Florida before moving up north to Flemington, NJ. She is so excited to be a part of the Falcons coaching staff!
Coach Kelly became a part of the Falcons organization in 2019 when her daughter began on Flag. She is so excited to become an assistant coach this season for flag! She looks forward to helping the cheerleaders learn, grow and have fun!
Kelly Ruffa
Team Commissioners
Dana Bivona
Coach Dana has been a team commissioner for both Falcons Cheer and Falcons Football, serving for four years on cheer side and one year for football. She is very excited to be a part of the JV coaching staff this season!
Jennifer Sherlock
Coach Jen joined the Falcons in 2017 cheering on her two sons playing football and her daughter who was cheering on Flag. This will be Jen’s second year as part of the JPW coaching staff. Jen also serves as Corresponding Secretary on the Falcons Cheer Board.
Shay Palmer
Coach Shay has been cheering on the Falcons organization since 2017 as a football mom and is now part of the coaching staff for cheer. Coach Shay has been the Team Commissioner for the Falcon’s Mitey Mites since 2020.
Catherine Mekovetz
This is Catherine’s first year as part of the coaching staff for the Falcons and her daughter’s first year as a Falcons’ cheerleader. Her husband and son have been involved in the Falcons Football organization for 4 years. She is looking forward to experiencing all the fun on the Flag team and participating in a successful season.
Courtney Seasongood
Coach Courtney is joining the Falcons Cheer Family for the first time this year as a Team Commissioner for her daughter’s Flag team. She is looking forward to a great first season and is very excited to be a part of the Flag coaching staff!
